Case Note / Description : Insofar as the protection of life and liberty of the petitioner is concerned, this Court on 03.10.2013 had directed the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala to ensure an adequate security cover to the petitioner till the next date of hearing. Since the present petition is being disposed of in the light of the observations made in Jaswinder Kaur's case (supra), liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala insofar as the threat perception is concerned and if any such application is moved, respondent No.2 would be obligated to examine the same and to take all steps as he may deem fit and as may be warranted strictly in accordance with law. Disposed of.
