The Indian space Research Organization, {hereinafter referred to as "|SRO'), established in 1975 under Department of Space, Government of Republic of lndia The United Kingdom Space Agency (hereinafter referred to as "UKSA'), launched in April 2010, replacing British National $pace Centre, by United Kingdom, and HAVING regard to the wishes of ISRO and UK$A (hereinafter referred to as the "Fairies") to cooperate on space activities for their mutual benefit; CON$IDERING the common interest of the United Kingdom and lndia in the use of space technology for peaceful purposes; RECOGNISING the advantages and benefits arising from international cooperation in the space field; NCITING the wide scope of the Indian and UK space programmes 1n space science, space technology and space applications, including the Indian launch vehicle development, Remote Sensing and Communication satellites programmes and the activities of the United Kingdom including space $science, space technology and remote sensing; and HAVING regard to the discussion which has between the two Parties in $September 2010; been taken place
