Objectives |
The main objective of the study is to propose a model online legal information system for Indian environment. The other objectives are as follows:
(i) to find the existing types of legal information sources and databases;
(ii) to know the perceptions and requirements of legal community about proposed online legal information system;
(iii) to find out different problems faced by the legal community while accessing the existing online legal information sources;
(iv) to design an online legal information system to suit legal information needs of the legal community in India;
(v) to develop the searching features for effective retrieval of information; and
(vi) to compare the features in legal information databases (commercial and open access) with proposed online legal information system (OLIS).
