AHLUWALIA: Will the PRIME MINISTER be pleased to state:  (a) the details of new insurance policies sold year-wise by the life, general and medical insurers during the last five years, indicating the numbers, volumes of premium deposited and volume of redemption involved in respective categories;  (b) the details of insurance policies renewed out of them and premium received;  (c) the details of life insurance policies lapsed over the last five years due to default by policy holders indicating their number and volume of fund lying locked on account of lapsed policies with Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) and other insurance companies; and  (d) the extant policy of Government for utilisation of these locked insurance fund?
