Attention of the Trade and Industry is invited to Section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 as amended and to Rule 6 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-Dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995 framed there under, as amended. Rule 6 of the AD Rules stipulates the principles governing the investigations. Rule 6 (4), inter-alia, states that the Designated Authority may call for any information and such information shall be furnished by such persons in writing within 30 days from the date of receipt of the notice or within such extended period as the Designated authority may allow on sufficient cause being shown
