Case Note / Description : G.S.R. 719... in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (i) of section 4 of the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980 (69 of 1980), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely 1. Short title, extent and commencement (a) These rules may called the Forest (Conservation) Rules, 1981. (b) They shall extend to the whole of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir.c) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the OfficialGazette. |
