President directs appointing authorities in respect of posts in the General  Central Service, Group "B", the General Central Service, Group "C" and the General Central Service, Group "D  S.O.1317(E).--In pursuance of sub-rule (2) of rule 9, clause (b) of sub-rule (2) of rule 12 and sub-rule (1) of rule 24 of the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1965 and in suppression of the Government of India, Department of Atomic Energy Order No. S.O. 4017, dated the 13th October, 2005, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such suppression, the President hereby directs that in respect of posts in the General Central Service, Group "B", the General Central  Service, Group "C" and the General Central Service, Group "D" specified respectively in column No. 2 of Part-I, Part-II and Part-III of the Schedule to this Order, the Authority specified in column No. 3 shall be the Appointing Authority and the Authority specified in column No. 4 and column No. 6 shall be the Disciplinary Authority and the Appellate Authority respectively in regard to the penalties specified in column No. 5 thereof.
